Yes, and every track was boring, The Day That Never Comes was kind of good until they started playing Don't Fear The Reaper by Blue Öyster Cult... Some song that I've heard before but don't remember the name of, with more power, a few retarded extra parts, vocals filled with so little feeling that it sounds like a dead female cat, and lyrics that simply suck..

I personally am fucking loving this, it's as if AJFA and the Black Album had babies. Judas Kiss totally rocks [I need to see this live], and the riffs on Cyanide are some of the best I've heard since Burton's death. I'm just about finishing Judas Kiss ATM and the instrumental is next. I'm going to give the entire thing another listen tonight so I can familiarize myself with it more, on the first listen I've been focusing on other things yet every time I think "Hey, I'm supposed to be listening to this" I tune into something that sounds really bad ass.

I will admit though that 'The Day That Never Comes' has been the weakest song so far. That may be because I've already heard it though and I was just listening to it for the sake of it. And the lyrics in everything bar the opening two songs and Judas Kiss have been pretty bad. But God damn it I still fucking love this thing. \m/

My Apocalypse is definitely the best song on the album no doot aboot it. I swear I'm gonna literally BUY this album its that good.

I need to check it out still, but in addition to what's been said above I've been hearing alot of postive feedback about it. So, looking good so far.

Guess I'll give the new metallica album a listen. I expected it to suck, because of their 2003 failure that shall remain nameless. However, from what I'm hearing in this thread, and on other forums, My expectations were probably wrong.

Well, I gave it a go. Definitely an improvement over St. Failure. But still not nearly as good as their first 5 albums.
